Looks like backgrounds checks are gaining recognition, especially in US where it is getting common for US Search for people who enters into their private lives.

According to Mybackground.com, they are conducting hundreds of thousands of personal background checks a year now as compared to the ten or 20 background checks a month five years ago.

Getting a piece of mind through backgrounds appears important for prospective nanny, driver, tutor amongst others.

Even those being checked expects it, said Amber Moreau, a nanny.

“I expect it. How can they really trust someone that’s walking into their house without seeing their complete background?”

Of course, the credentials of the screening company does play an important part too, as advised by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.

Before you use a company to do a [tag-tec]background check[/tag-tec], you can go to the Better Business Bureau to get recommendations.

“When they talk about [tag-tec]criminal records research[/tag-tec], , you want to make sure that they’re going to the courthouse, they’re going to the source of information to find out if the person does or does not have a record,” Morris said.

Stone feels confident with the company he picked and was pleased when Amber’s background check came back clean.

“We feel great about getting the background check, and, if we were to hire another nanny, I would do the exact same thing,” Stone said.
